Lloyds Bank Ski Club - Rules of the Club
1. The name of the Club shall be Lloyds Bank Ski Club or such other name
as the Club Officers deem appropriate.
2. The Club shall be open to all members of the staff of Lloyds Bank plc and
its subsidiaries worldwide and to pensioners of Lloyds Bank plc or its
subsidiaries. The Officers of the Club may at their discretion allow
employees leaving the Bank to remain members of the Club.
3. The Officers of the Club shall consist of a Secretary, Treasurer and
Chairman. They may create such other Officers as they feel are required
for the proper running of the Club. Officers will remain appointed until they
resign. Replacement Officers will be appointed by the remaining Officers
of the Club.
4. The Officers of the Club shall have the power to create any committees
they feel are for the benefit of the Club and to co-opt a member or
members as they deem appropriate. The Officers can also disband any
committee formed by them when it is no longer deemed to have any
further use.
5. All decisions relating to the Club shall be made by a majority vote of the
Club Officers only and their decision shall be final.
6. The Club Officers will hold an Annual General Meeting each year to
discuss the Club affairs. Because of the geographical spread of members
in the Club it is not intended to invite members to attend but any pertinent
issues will be advised to them by newsletter.
7. There will be a Membership Fee and it will be decided by the Officers of
the Club. There will be no refunds of annual fees if a member resigns from
the Club.
8. Membership will run from 1st November to 31st October each year.
9. The Clubs financial year will run from 1st November to 31st October each
year. This may be varied by the Officers of the Club at any time.
10. Membership Fees are to be payable on the 1st November annually and
shall be paid by Standing Order direct to the Club's Bank Account. There
will be no refund of Fees to any member resigning from the Club after
paying their Fees.
11. The Club shall maintain its Bank Accounts at a branch of Lloyds Bank plc
as decided by the Officers of the Club.
12. All cheques, debits or other payment instructions to the Bank or from the
Club's assets shall require the signature of two Club Officers, one of whom
will normally be the Treasurer.
13. The aim of the Club is to promote the sport of skiing in all its forms and at
all levels of ability amongst the staff of Lloyds Bank plc and its
subsidiaries.
